Kuniyoshi: Nightmares of the Floating World

The Japanese art of Ukiyo-e (Pictures of the Floating World) that originated during the Edo period and provide beautiful representation of the landscapes, culture and history of the land of the rising sun. But when the sun sets and darkness falls, the ukiyo-e then turn to the night themes, bizarre erotic couplings and battles with strange beasts and beings come to the fore.
